S Hotels & Resorts (SHR) has expanded the leadership remit of Alexander Traeger, Area General Manager, Maldives, effective 1 October 2026, as part of a strategic move to further align its Maldives portfolio under a one destination, one team, one goal approach.
In his expanded role, Alex will oversee the strategic and operational performance of SHR’s portfolio at CROSSROADS Maldives, comprising SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, SO/ Maldives and The Marina @ CROSSROADS. The broader mandate is designed to strengthen collaboration across the destination, drive greater operational and commercial synergies, and create a more unified approach to guest experience, talent and destination development.
