Uttar Pradesh has expanded its Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana-Gramin to cover all remaining Scheduled Tribes, aiming for universal housing. This decision follows the near saturation of earlier target groups and aims to fill a housing shortfall of approximately 6,000 units. The move will enable numerous tribal communities to receive permanent housing benefits.
